Text Box: Clean Up after Flooding at Local School Having received a phone call at 5.00pm on a September Friday evening, we attended a local Primary School. On arrival we found widespread flash flooding to 70% of the school, classrooms, school halls and Library, following heavy storms during the afternoon. Compounding the situation was an impending OFSTED inspection the following week, having surveyed the property, and developing an action plan. Our team worked through the night and weekend, to clean and sanitise all affected areas, at the same time compiling an inventory and photographing damaged items for the school and insurance company. Following an inspection on the Monday morning by the Local Education Authority, the school was cleared to re-open, ready for OFSTED and reducing the downtime for the school to an absolute minimum.
